Substance Use Disorder Records (42 CFR Part 2)

Federal regulations (42 CFR Part 2) provide additional protections for records relating to substance use disorder treatment. These records are protected by stricter confidentiality rules than general medical records. We will not disclose your substance use disorder treatment records without your specific written consent, except in limited circumstances permitted by law.
