Help launch the Pacific Northwest's first clinic focused solely on medication-free neurostimulation for withdrawal
Neuro Recovery Institute is a startup preparing to open in Portland, Oregon. To our knowledge, we will be the only outfit in the region focused solely on a medication-free, neurostimulation-based model for opioid withdrawal — no methadone or buprenorphine as the core of detox, just FDA-cleared technology that works with the brain's own chemistry.
That means the people who join us now won't be inheriting someone else's protocols. You will help write them. This is a rare chance to shape the clinical standard, the culture, and the science of a genuinely new kind of treatment center from day one.
We are pre-launch. We do not yet have a physical location, and our clinical roles will open as we finalize funding and state licensing. We are not going to post jobs we can't yet fill. What we are doing right now is meeting the clinicians, researchers, and operators who want to help build this — so that when we open, our founding team is already in place. If that's you, we want to talk early.
Right now, we are actively looking for physicians and clinicians alike who are interested in joining us. If you want to be part of the founding team, reach out — we'd love to hear from you.
Be part of the first Portland team dedicated entirely to medication-free neurostimulation detox — a model that is only just becoming possible.
Work with FDA-cleared technology grounded in documented neuroanatomy, helping people through the hardest part of recovery without new opioids.
We reject the hype that has plagued this field. If you care about telling patients the truth and holding to the evidence, you'll fit here.
Founding staff help define the clinical protocols, training, and research agenda — not just execute them.
As we move toward launch, we anticipate building out the following founding roles. Availability and timing depend on funding and licensing.
Board-certified in addiction medicine, neurology, or a related field to lead clinical protocol development, oversee device-based detox, and ensure patient safety.
Experienced nurses — ideally with detox, ICU, or neuromodulation exposure — to run day-to-day patient monitoring, device placement, and withdrawal assessment.
Hands-on staff trained to support device placement, patient comfort, and monitoring throughout the withdrawal course.
Help us collect outcomes honestly, contribute to the evidence base for auricular neurostimulation, and keep our claims tied to real data.
Licensed social workers, case managers, and peer recovery specialists to coordinate aftercare, transitions, and long-term recovery support.
Intake, billing, compliance, and operations professionals to build the infrastructure of a new clinic the right way.
Reach out early — tell us who you are and how you'd like to be part of the founding team.
